Hi BTandSid, thanks for your msg. My son is now on his second Karoq, both 1500s, and loves them. Drove one of them and liked it a lot but, despite only rarely going off-road having had awd for the last 16 years i'd like to maintain it, and Karoqs with that option are a bit more than i want to spend. I've always liked the perky looks of the Yeti anyway so the affordable nature of older 4x4 petrol versions is attractive. Hoping to find one asap but as first post, not too many about so staying patient.

Currently looking to replace a much-loved but now broken 19yo Subaru Forester, owned last 16y, and the Yeti is the closest natural successor i can think of. Googling just about anything related sooner or later led to this forum, so thought i'd sign up. Realising now the awd petrol versions are relatively rare so finding one could take a while, but enjoying the hunt and the forum meanwhile.
