There is no need to disconnect battery I didn't just unplugged the loom fitted old loom to new loom then onto box. Reassemble and away you go. Just make sure you do not switch on until all is connected and back together After removing the screen you will find a black box the size of cd player It is this you have to slide out after removing the screws on each side. Then you can pull the unit out, the loom is fitted to the back of this unit

If you get the SinoSmart one from Ali express it all comes with the camera it was I think £35 complete. All you have to do is open the box and everything you need is there

If you get the SinoSmart one it is plug and play. You only have to feed cables to the Boot all the rest is done by the new loom

I apologise, now having read quite a number of posts it appears that a lot of the questions can be answered by people actually reading the little book that came with the vehicle, Commonly called User Manual.

As the manual states. Take out dip stick wipe off oil, reinsert dip stick, remove and it should show correct oil level. Depending on where the oil shows will tell you either too low or too high, it should be in-between

That's weird. Wipe the dipstick then put it back in, then take it out again to see if it is the same, or shows correct mark

You really do care about other drivers that you lower your headlamps not to blind others driving towards you. See you do not realise that driving on the left your headlamps are directed to the Right.and vise versa on right hand drive Headlamps aim has nothing to do with height.

Well as I am disabled and reverse with door mirrors the camera helps as you can't see directly behind using door mirrors. Perhaps you are lucky and can turn you body and head to look back over your shoulder to reverse. Think before you type Crap

H,i I have a 2023 Skoda Kamiq SEDrive 1.5 dsg.I have fitted a reversing camera kit from AliExpressIt all appears ok except there is no picture.The infotainment screen shows the car picture on the left top to bottom with the icons on bottom right. But no actual vision of the back behind car.Has anyone have any idea what it could be. I have sent for another camera boot handle.Any ideas anybody.
