Good day,
hope you guys are doing well!
your assistance is much appreciated on this matter as Skoda official dealer could not really get to the bottom of it.
a year ago car temp gauge started to play around slightly going above 90 C then back when releasing the gas pedal, official dealer switched both the thermostat and Temp sensor which solved the issue.
since then I am having slight power loss, slow acceleration, higher consumption and some times black smoke from the exhaust (actually not really black smoke but spot on the floor beneath it).
the car drives somehow normal in the first 2/3 gears, once I put the 4th gear around 50 km/h and try to press the pedal, nothing happens for like 5 secs full throttle (probably until pressure builds up) and then starts to accelerate but way slower than it was before and the throttle is far too soft in comparison to before, it can be easily pressed to the bottom (no resistance whatsever). The same issue appears on the 5th gear highway flat, no power at all around 120 km and takes ages to build up pressure/speed to overtake a car on the right lane.
MAF sensor was changed alongside boost pressure sensor, did not help much. The latest scan was done very recently and the MAF error was displayed but then did not appear again once deleted/rescanned.
official dealer checked all pipes/cables and did not find anything strange like a cut of loose pipe ending, however they changed the O rings on the boost pressure pipe and that helped for like 1000 KMs but once cold weather hit on the way back from long trip the issue reappeared back π
I have tried to tighten the clamps around the boost pressure hoses, it helped slightly but the issue is still there.
Hope you guys can help on this one and again highly appreciate your input!!!
kr,
Maen
