Thank you for your answer, the behaviour is the same with the switch unhooked, normally I think you have to turn the switch on to have the functionality of the high beam to stay on and allso being able to make the headlight spray nozzles to work, do you know if it is like that? Do you think it is possible to "remove" the lightsensor in VCDS, and would it do any difference?
  2. Hi, I have a 2007 Octavia Estate and I can't turn off the DRL with the light switch. The front windscreen was changed a while ago and I think the light/rain sensor was damaged by the mechanic. I don not care if the sensors work or not, I am just interested being able to turn off the DRL since it is required for the inspection in Sweden. Is it any easy fix you can recommend? From VCDS: 01520 - rain and light recognition sensor (g397) Best regard Leif
