2012 Yeti 1.6 TDI. About a year ago, we replaced the air flow meter with a aftermarket product because the glow plug light did not go out. There was a problem that started right after this.
For a year now, after starting the engine when it is cold, when I give gas while driving, it cuts off the gas very suddenly and leans forward. It continues in the first, second and third gears until the engine recovers with each accelerator. After 5-6 minutes, when the engine warms up and recovers, there is no problem. If I start the engine again after 5-6 hours, there is no problem, but if I start it after stopping for 12 hours or a day, the same problem occurs again. When I connect it to the computer, nothing comes out, and there is nothing on the fault lights.
The mechanic can't say anything definite, he says you have to leave the vehicle, but when he does, he will see what I told him, and he won't be sure, so I didn't let him go. I think the problem is caused by the air flow meter, but since the original one was 5000 lira, I did not want to order it without being sure.
I would be very happy if someone with knowledge could help.
