Oil is ok, how do I check my water temp?

It’s 9 degrees today , so not exactly cold. And it’s happening again. I’ve only driven 1 mile down the road and my bonnet is warm . does anyone else’s car do this.

I think so , this is why I was wondering if my bonnet / engine is getting too hot

Does anyone else have lots of steam being produced from the bonnet surface when it rains? never had a Skoda before and never seen it happen. it’s like the bonnet is getting super hot. I’ve attached a video many thanks IMG_0385.mov

Hi all I have a Octavia 2022 , and. I think the system is really poor at remembering driver settings. is there anyway to update the software to enable the car to start in ECO mode ? And also to keep start / stop off? everytine you change modes the car resets and forgets driver preferences thanks in advance
