Just had the Bolero on my 12 plate L&K 'hang'. Mute symbol on, couldn't make it go off, wouldn't scan, wouldn't see media. Pulled fuse F8 (in engine compartment), waited 30 seconds, put it back in. Radio rebooted, everything came back!!! (just got to find all the old stations I had set!)

Pick it up Thursday.... getting excited!!!!!!!

Done it!!! Octy L&K Est, 1.8TSi DSG in Satin Grey......... + Front park sensors, Alcantara interior and tow-bar prep. Picking it up 1st March... (there was a stock car with the spec I wanted).

Had a good look at a mates Octy Elegance with 1.8 TSi and DSG... boy it felt good to be back in a Skoda seat! Initial visit to the dealer this afternoon to get a new brochure and let the missus see the colours - thinking about Cappucino or arctic Greaan? (Last one was Anthracite which was fine until some low-life keyed it the weekend before the lease company collected it back, fortunately they haven't charged me).

Hello again! As you can see, I used to drive a Rover (75 Estate, deisel, very nice!), then moved to an Octavia L&K DSG Estate Diesel. Had this for 4 years, then the lease ended and it went back (December 2011). Now retired, looked at Mondeos - nice but expensive - so started looking at Skoda again. My Octy was almost 100% reliable (fuel filter air-leak in the last 2 months, nothing else) and was a lovely cruiser and load carrier. Diesel no longer appropriate (DPF issues with retirement style driving) so I'm seriously considering another Skoda. Most likely spec: Octavia L&K Estate 1.8 TSI DSG.... just need to decide on the colour..... I like the VAT free deal and 0% APR!!!!!!

Had a problem with my key, but wife's worked. My key would not lock or unlock remotely, but starts car OK. I followed the pairing process with my key. The horn didn't sound, but it all works fine now!

Mine work fine too. As previously suggested, returning the switch to OFF then back to AUTO ensures they work sensibly. I once had a Merc C220 and the auto wipers were rubbish! Drive along a tree-lined road on a sunny day and the wipers would start up!

It did catch me out in town traffic, but I think I am used to it now. Cold morning make the change a bit sluggish but that soon goes. Just treated myself to a TomTom curtesy of the tax man (tax rebate!)

Got this in December, just got round to taking pics! Very please so far, it is L&K 2.0 DSG. Averaging around 42mpg (mixed local and long distance), very confortable, love the DSG box, lots of toys! Why didn't I look beyond the badge before now?

I got an L&K estate in Anthracite Grey with the darker Alcantara and I think it looks great! Just over 1k miles on the clock now, extended run coming up this weekend (approx. 600 miles). Love the toys, love the finish - great car. Got the 2.0 Diesel with DSG box.. wonderful! Do I like my Skoda? You bet!

Three weeks on and still happy, no long journeys yet (Thetford and back on Sunday to look forward to), doing just below 39mpg on local running around. Very happy with my choice. Pics will have to wait until I wash it - the salt/grit on the roads has made it filthy!

So by the time I have remembered how to use it, I have ploughed into the back of the traffic jam in front of me..... I had TrafficMaster in my last car (Rover75) and found it useful, I've never found TP much use. Thinking about geting a Gramin with Traffic. Any comments?? (Apparently TomTom with Traffic is not so good). And yes, GTFM then I can RTFM!

My car arrived without the manual for the Audience Radio/CD. Dealer sent me one for the 'Stream', but it doesn't cover all the Audience features. I've worked out how to load CD/MP3 disks, tuned the radio, set the sound up, but I am baffled as to what 'AIM' is - or how (or even why!) to use it. Leasing company called me today for a 'customer satisfaction check', they have promised to get the correct manual for me, but in the meantime, WTF is it??

Will do, when I get time! Ride is smotther with tyre pressures at 31-32, but it is more 'jiggly' than the 75, I will probably get used to it, and the toys make me forget about the roads!

I took delivery of mine last Friday, loaded it up with 6 Rewritable CDs full of mp3 files, they all play just fine. Can't check the manual as the manual for the radio (Audience) is missing - dealer is posting one to me.
