  1. Hi everyone, I have recently bought a Skoda Superb 2006 2.0TDI. I was looking for a second car, bought it cheap. As soon I bought it I changed cam belt and water pump, also done a full service. I have noticed that it has few electrical issues: rear sensors beep when putting into reverse gear but don’t actually work, central locking and alarm playing funny games, cruise controls on the steering wheel don’t work at all, radio light is going on and off, interior lights not working at all in the front, in the back they work but on open door position they don’t react. I had a look at the drain holes that is their common problem and at the CCM module, cleaed that dried sprayed with contact spray, central locking and windows working better but when locking the car left rear passenger acts independently from the rest. I have noticed that alarm unit is also near the battery and it might have been exposed to water. Thinking to change that but unsure if the key fob will need programming. Can anyone give me an advice, maybe someone was in the same situation. Your help is very much appreciated!
