Christ it's been a long time... 18.000 posts since my last visit! After getting a bit peeved with my freedom payment being delayed by Paypal, and then never becoming active I pretty much just gave up with briskoda :( I've had a few really bad times of late that I don't really want to go into, but lets just say it's best to live and learn than locking ones self away. New friends have helped me find myself again, and i'm prob happier than i've ever been, and hopefully....... looking for another MK1 Fabia Luv you all, Tone;)

Good evening chaps and chapess's. The problem with me has always been that get stressed out by the littlest of things. NOW though, I have found a speicial someone to stress over instead. The problem is, they've just moved away and are getting a little stressed out by the new job/flat/city sort of thing and i just dont know were I come in this equasion. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not being selfish. I'm keeping the words of encouragement up with regular texts and phone calls, but I just feel like i'm being pushed away. I have no doupt that it'll all sort it's self out, even if that meens me being dumped and spending my life alone (it's taken me 27yrs to find ANYONE that I can really talk to) then so be it, life goes on in one way or another. But because of my constant worry about was is/will or wont happen, i'm having a bit of trouble sleeping. During the day i'm fine, i can find something to do. But at night, I just find myself laying here getting more and more wound up over something that is most likey just in my head! So how can I de-stress a bit? (BTW don't sergest masterbation, that just makes feel worse right now) And yeah, I know I can't spell

Hello I'm after a bit of honist advise here I'm looking for a new (or rarther a change) and have seen 2 that I like. Number one is a Met Black '99 Audi A3 1.6 Sport 3dr thats up at 3300. The other is a Graphite Grey 2003 MK 4 Golf GTi 180 3 dr thats up at 5700. Now i've test driven the Audi, and compaired to my Fabia....WOW! What a nice car! The Golf is a really nice looking car, but I'd have to Finance about 2K to get it, do I really want to do that? So... do I get what I can afford and get an Audi A3 and upgrade to a 1.8T in a year or 2, or do I get what I want now and to hell with it?! The Audi is such a nice car to drive, and with all the goodies- Climate contrle CD Auto changer + the rest.... I think I'd be happy dispite the performance loss over the Golf. Though I think I'd kick myself over 'what I could've had'. What do ya'll reckon? I can't think anymore! :confused: Cheers (P.S. Howdy.... Basicly my M/B is foobard, and it's a small miricle that my PC works at all! I've picked up a new M/B today but I was just wondering if I HAVE TOO reformat my hard drive, or can I get away with just swapping them and loading the new software?

Apart from........ "Don't!" :P I've been thinking of getting rid of my 1.4 MPi Fabia for a while now, and I've seen this imaculate 1999 Corsa 1.6 Sport with A/C for sale near me. Obviusly ( ) I'd like a Fabia VRs, but I really can't aford one, and this looks to be a good compromise. So OK the quality of the trim isn't ideal, but the Sport spec seats are great, and (for me) a million times better that any Fabia seat I've sat in. Anyone got any tips of what to lookout for and what to avoid? And perhaps any other recomendation in the small sporty car market (No Saxo's though!) for around 2K? Cheers

I got this lovely old Saab that I'm going to put a nice shiny new CD player into, along with my AMP and Sub. It's got a huge boot, so it'll all just disappear within What I've always wanted was a Pioneer DEHP77MP, as it was a great retro look stereo that was one of the best available for less than 500. Obvisly, it's NLA now that I wan't one:rolleyes: What else it there, that has good looks, and sounds great for 200 or so? What I don't want is something like this; A Silver one!!! It's such a shame that so many forums have gone that way, you're just as likely to have someone say it's rubbish as you are to have someone else say it's great. And like you say, they're only looking for an argument... I thought it sounded great, esp for the amount of time you've been playing, but I do think you need to bend your knees more

I used to run 7.5" by 16" Rial Vipers on mine with Eibach lowering springs with 205/45/16s and never had any problems Unless you count going sideways on wet round abouts

It's a 2001 (51) Met Nature Green Comfort (not A/C) 5dr hatch with about 56K (ish) and FSH (not all skoda tho, but it's been well looked after) Will be serviced next week. Just fitted a new set of brand new genuine Skoda 15" alloys with Pirreli tyres. Will have a full MOT, it's tested 'till July I think, but i'll get a full test on it as there's nout wrong with it It's got a small split on the rear bumper, that you can't really see. I didn't notice it when I bought the car 3+ years ago. How much do you rockon?

My li'll MPi Fabia will hopefully be upgraded to a vRS one day, but looking at the prices of a second hand vRS's..... WHAT'S GOING ON!! I understand it a popular car, but a year old one with 10.000 miles on the clock for 11.495. Or a '53' reg'd one with 30K for 9000. I know they hold their value's quite well, but these prices just seem daft to me.... why would anyone pay so much, when it's not much more for a brand new one? With prices like this, I can see me getting an Ibiza instead, but I'd really like another Fabia, as I've really come to love it in the 3+ years i've had it.
