  1. Turns out that somehow the wire running along the inside of the rear bumper to the sensor had been worn through to the bare metal which was causing the short. All fixed and can now sell!
  2. I'm in Hereford. I've managed to get it booked in for a test next Monday.
  3. Unfortunately, the auto electricians local to me with VCDS can't fit me in until after Christmas and I need to sell the car asap as I have bought a new one.
  4. My engine light on my 2016 Octavia Scout recently came on so local garage ran diagnostic. This threw up that a glow plug needed replacing and "Scanner - 01 - Engine Management - Code - P125700 - Coolant Circulation Valve Open Circuit" also came up. Changing the glow plug sorted the engine light but code P125700 still showing. In between the diagnostic and the glow plug change, the Parkpilot failed. So now I get the 'The ParkPilot is currently not available' message when I start the car, a high pitched tone when I put the car into reverse but no working parking sensors and a reversing camera that seems to work ok. The camera was fitted nearly 3 years ago and I have never had a problem with it previously. I have searched the forums but no one seems to have successfully fixed the ParkPilot problem. Has anyone previously solved this problem? I need to sell my car and I don't want to pass this problem to someone else, or have to to drop the price to take into account the buyer having to pay to get teh problem fixed.
