  1. I have MK1 2006 1.4 Gasoline. Recently it's been having this issue of shaking and hesitanting when reaching 3000 rpm and also started to show P0322 fault code with check engine light. I've heard that might mean that engine speed sensor needs to be changed. Does someone know where is it located and is it easy to reach? Thanks!
  2. Thanks for your patience and assistance. I will try to do the job myself and let's hope it will go well.
  3. No worries, thanks a lot. When you were dismantling the sump was it enough for you lifting the car and keep it standing on Jacks or should it be lifted all the way up on a lift?
  4. Is there an attachment or something you tried to upload here? I just checked now also the car and it seems that the exhaust pipe is going through the sump in an annoying way...
  5. Thanks a lot. Do you happen to have some pictures of the engine block from below after removing the sump? I just want tp see where the oil pump is located before starting to do the job. And yed my car is 16 valve 1.4 with manual transmission.
  6. I really think that the issue is either a broken oil pump or clogged oil strainer in front of the pump but I don't know how easy to access those parts from underneath the car.
  7. Yes the connector is ok and I actually changed the whole pressure switch to rule that out.
  8. Hello, I have Skoda Fabia MK1 2006 1.4 gasoline where the red oil pressure light have been coming frequently to the board. Oil level is ok I checked it. I am doubting that oil pump is faulty as I also hear weird noise coming from the engine. Could you please tell is it just located under the crank if I remove the oil sump/pan? Is it easy to access? I will try to replace it myself but I really cannot find material online on the matter. TIA
  9. I would like thank you so much. I located it correctly. My car has an issue that heating doesn't work well even though engine temperature reaches 90C it still blows cold air for some time, hopefully thermostat change will get the issue solved.
  10. 1.4 gasoline engine. Here's how it looks.
  11. Hi guys, I have a question regarding changing the thermostat if my Skoda Fabia Combi I 2006 (6Y5). I tried to do it but honestly didn't manage to find the thermostat itself. I searched for some guides on YouTube and from Google and so on but it seems they are showing different models even though they state it's for Fabia 6Y5. Some says that I need to remove the alternator to find the thermostat underneath, some says I have to shifter lever and another one says about vacuum reservoir in front of the engine but it's not even there so absolutely different model. Would you please guide. Thanks in advance!
