Hey ex kiwi, Yeh I tested with all doors etc in their locked positions, definitely everything is shutdown, but do get an amp reading on the fuse for the radio circuit with everything else in sleep mode. Btw I have taken to a sparky & they're as perplexed by this as.i am

not sure of the make but it runs Android Infotainment. I have heard that it could be a canbus issue not shutting down the radio unit like all other systems when the car goes to into sleep mode after an hour? if so, can the canbus be replaced/firmware upgraded perhaps? Iknow of several other superb owners have had similar issues with this issue

Hello again another issue Im struggling with is the battery, even when replaced with a new one, goes flat after a day or so of no driving. I check the voltage after driving & it is fully charged. I have replaced batteries a couple of times. but the issue remains. I've opened thedoors bonnet & tailgate, witht hthe locks closed, left the car for an hour & 1/2 so that it shuts down, have looked at he amperage drawn across the fuses & found the fuse 17(?) under rthe dash is active. this feeeds the radio & fwe other bits & pieces. How canI make this circuit go into sleep mode with the rest of the car?

Hi All i have a 2011 superb Estate with the VR6 engine. when iat idle, it fluctuates between 1000 to approx 1500rpm, gets up to the 1500 aange & then drops down to 1000, continues to do this constantly doesnt make any difference wheter hot or cold, in gear or in neutral. Any ideas where to start troubleshooting would be helpful please

Ive replaced all Sensors etc, so for the cost of the camshaft adjuster valves x 2, I might as well change these as well. has anyone done this job previously? I cant see eternally how to remove the old ones after disconnecting the electrical connectors

Hey again still chasing the parasitic current draw down on the car. I am after circuit diagrams or fuse diagrams so I can trace circuits between engine compartment fuses & interior fuses. ie, what engine bay fuse F19 feeds in the interior fuse box. it says it should be just the radio, but when i remove that fuse no power to ignition or dash????

Update to this issue, I cleared error codes in car, tried unlocking with the remote & door unlock button, still same issue, so tried lifting the external door handles & hey presto , they unlocked fully. now remote & door lock button work as normal.

Hi All I have been having lots of issues with parasitic battery drain, so today did a mA test across fuses etc, with the doors , tailgate & bonnet open but the locks closed, ( used a screwdriver). Now I cant unlock the 2 rear doors & the front passenger door. Have tried the remote, as well as the door unlock button on drivers door. So currently I cant shut 3 doors, any advise gratefully accepted

Yes, im dealing with the same issues, crankshaft position & Cam position sensors all replaced with new, same problem still exists. Be interested in any fix for the problem

Im struggling with the same issues, 2011 Suuperb MK11 Elegance Estate. Also replaced Crankshaft Sensor & Cam positioning sensors, can reset the fault codes, car drives as normal but after 10m minutes or so engine light comes back on, same fault codes. Dont know where to go next with trouble shooting issue
