  1. Hi - sorry I'm new here. I have owned my Kodiaq 2.0 diesel DSG 4x4 Mk1 from new (Jan 18) and it has been faultless... till now. I have always used VAG approved garages for servicing and everything has been done on time. The mechatronic unit on my DSG gearbox failed last week and Skoda have been completely unable to provide me with a timeline for repair because of a shortage of parts. It would appear that there are no replacement parts in the UK. I have searched the internet for some understanding of where the blockages might be because my local service desk merely offer "computer says no", but have found nothing. Skoda Customer Services are equally pants - it seems they are based in South Africa and have very limited sight of things. Any thoughts or guidance on possible solutions would be much appreciated. My car has been off the road now for 10 days and we are about to hit Xmas meaning I can't see it being resolved till late January at best... There must be an alternative solution?
