  1. Clunking / Clicking noise from rear of car

    below is a copy of the recording of the noise from a 2019 Skoda Octavia 1.6 diesel. The noise is coming from the rear of the car just behind the back door (near fuel filler) It can be heard louder outside the car. It can be heard when the car is started up and is stationary. It continues when the car is moving but at higher speeds you can’t hear it for road noise. It can still be heard when the engine is stopped by the automatic stop/start system. It seems to disappear when the engine is up to temperature. The car seems to be running fine but we’re just concerned that it’s something that’s going to pack in and leave us stranded. does anyone know what is causing this and is it likely to be a problem?
