  1. Thank you, scouring the search I fell upon that little beauty but I am hesitant as it isn’t that clear to me what it is I am removing. I have followed some videos to remove the headlights and have unscrewed the top connecting screws, two from the inside of each wheel arch, but the underneath is my issue. I don’t want to remove anything I really shouldn’t and the diagram isn’t that clear to me? I’m also concerned that there might be some front screws I need to remove that aren’t obvious? again, any help would be awesome Edit: ok, i’ve got my head under the bumper and found lots of places where screws should be but aren’t. Not entirely happy about this. i’ve also found there’s a but if a gap where possibly there shouldn’t be one so I’m thinking there might be some missing bits. I know I need some expanding nuts and some of these missing screws already but it looks very much like there’s more missing…

  3. Hi all! On buying the Banana, it is apparent that the front bumper has been, well, bumped. There are several cracks which I fully intend to plastic-weld back together. What I would like to do is find a source of material that shows how to remove the front bumper without inadvertently disconnecting the engine from the car and turning it into something from The Flintstones. Any assistance would be splendid!
  4. Hi All, Inso here. Needed a car and my colleague was selling his after making the move to electric so I am the proud owner of a Yellow Skoda Octavia vRS MkII Facelift. Yellow. 197k miles on the clock but the engine sounds lovely and it's yellow. Alloys could use a bit of a lick and I can't help but notice that regardless of how many times I look out of the window, it's still yellow. I've taken it on knowing it needs the body work looking at, baring in mind it's yellow so for some reason I can finish washing it and even without going anywhere, I have to start again from the back once I get to the front. God damn yellow. My journey to repair the front bumper has brought me here but i'll post that in a 'please help me and the wee mobile' post elsewhere. Good to meet you all.
