Hello - I am going to buy an Octavia this week, as have sold my car and need to get something urgently to get to work and back. In my budget I can either get a 1.6D Estate Mk 3 or a 1.0TSI Mk 4 hatchback. Prefer the look and interior of the mk 4, but the practicality and economy of the estate mk 3 1.6D. We really need good fuel economy as do quite a bit of driving.- driving is either rural roads for school commute etc or mix of rural and motorway from commute to Oxford (50 miles each way). Looking to see who has got or had either of these engines and what sort of real economy they get? Thanks James
