  1. Found it out guys, was the flexor knocking against the exhaust/heat shield under load. Exhaust wasn’t blown so garage fixed it with cable ties and tightened it
  2. Sorry just trying to figure out what do you guys mean? Surely it’s fairly simple to figure out, the noise occurs when say for example you lift the clutch up when pulling off, originally thought this was when it was stalling but I don’t think it is. Whenever I rev the engine when idle then it operates perfectly normally I'm pretty sure, it’s just as I shifting at 1500-2500 rpm, even 1st to 2nd at 10-15 mph. It’s like whenever the engine is needing to work harder it feels like. As you can hear bit of a ticking noise. Thanks again for your contributions so far, much appreciated. May ring the garage up and just see if I can get it checked tomorrow if it’s something hard to figure out, I just thought that noise would be quite distinctive!
  3. Yes true, sorry I’m 19 and while I do have knowledge on cars etc was difficult at the time when buying the car due to my situation to be able to understand all of this. The spark plugs were ALL replaced back in July 2020, the brake drums haven’t been replaced but the discs have.
  4. Also, it’s coming from the drivers side in front of me if that helps. Not sure if this has anything to do with it but all wheels particularly the rear left wheel is also locking up too when the cars been left overnight frequently! The other 3 all almost unstick but the back left one often takes a bit of shifting to get loose.
  5. Thanks for the replies guys, that noise is emphasised on the MP3 as I purposefully went in lower gears and switched earlier than I normally would so you can properly hear that noise. Also was pressing hard on the accelerator. The car has full service history and always serviced at a Skoda dealer or Halfords. Would the spark plugs cause that noise?
  6. Would this make a noise when the cars struggling then etc? I’m just trying to work this one out as so hard to tell!
  7. Hi Skoda people, new to this forum, I hope you're all doing well! I've been experiencing a peculiar issue with my Skoda Citigo and thought I'd reach out to this knowledgeable community for some insights. Got a 2017 Citigo with 75,000 miles on at the moment, 1L, 59BHP, 3DR, SE trim. Whenever I press the accelerator more than lightly (say a pound coin) especially uphill or when switching gears even after 2-2500 RPM (say from 3 to 4 at 30-35MPH), I notice a rattling noise. Even on flat terrain, the noise persists after shifting gears, like as if to signal the car is struggling. However, as I say, when the car is just switching on flat it’ll still make it for a few seconds. Has anyone else encountered a similar problem with their Citigo? Any advice or suggestions on what might be causing this issue would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking to gather some insights before heading to the garage. Thanks in advance for your help!
