  1. So the dealer got in touch. As @liam_vrsiv and @Edela have said on the forum, there's a leak in the heat exchanger causing an overpressure in the HV coolant system. Warranty company now talking to main dealer as it was ONE day out of manufacturer 3yr warranty.
  2. Mine (vRS hybrid 21 plate) had this on Saturday whilst at 70mph on the M6. No yellow - straight to red. Limped to Rugby services (1 mile). Annoyingly on the LAST day of the manuf 3 yr warranty. I bought the car 2nd hand in Nov 23. Car recovered to local dealer. Now awaiting diagnosis (48 hours) and the inevitable fight between Skoda manuf warranty and the extended warranty I bought from the dealer (CarShop) in Nov. Evidence of residue on the rim of the bowl. Lots of pressure seeping out from lid of bowl when I popped the bonnet. Car was serviced the previous friday (end of July) at 37750 miles...
  3. The ride eight on the hybrid is higher because of the battery. I personally wouldn't lower it, especially for the pot-hole ridden roads where I live. What are French backroads like?
  4. As I didn't buy mine new, nor from a franchised dealer I had pretty much zero explanation. Is there a way I can pre-condition the battery?
  5. I've got a vRS PHEV Est and battery shows 21/22 miles when fully charged. I can get to work (18.5 miles) on a full battery with a couple left over. Doesn't seem to make a difference whether I'm in sport/normal mode. Rural driving, some long straights and a few hilly bits, mostly on the cruise control at 55 and it still doesn't make much difference. Will see how it changes as the weather gets warmer. fuel tank range has gone up from 350 when I bought it (late Nov 22) and now states 410 when full. I'm getting nearly 500 (495) between fills.
  6. vRS est PHEV here
  7. Got similar but PHEV and loving it so far. Comfy seats, decent power (although the front gets a little skittish), nice toys and add ons.
  8. Hi - back to the brand with a Mk4 2021 vRS PHEV Estate. (Had 2001 Fabia 1.9D Elegance when first came out, ran it for 11 years, also had 51 plate Octavia 1.9TDi. Now back to 2 Skoda house as OH has 73 plate Scala Monte Carlo). Picked it up at tail end of Nov, waiting for Octopus to install the home charger...
