You might also argue that the company issuing the ticket has no legal right to do so as article 12 of the Bill of Rights 1689 states: That all grants and promises of fines and forfeitures of particular persons before conviction are illegal and void; meaning that the only way you can be legitimately fined is via a conviction in Court. According to the Fabia brochure I picked up at the beginning of the year the 1.4 16v 75bhp engine is tax category E (emissions 182) so £165. The 1.4 16v 100bhp is in category D (emissions 158) so £140. I was put off the petrol engine for that very reason.

Sorry, I know this has been raised before, but the search results threw up replies from some time ago. I have today picked up a used Fabia vRS on a 56 plate which was previously used as a demonstrator/dealership staff car. Am I right in thinking it should come with vRS mats as standard? There are none - is it worth mentioning to the dealer? Thanks for your input..............

This site really is a mine of information! Having picked up my Fabia vRS today I had no clue that there might be a storage bin under the passenger seat.......! It seems mine has one under the passenger seat but not the driver's seat - although I'm not 100% sure what I would want to put in it............

Please tell me the deal was done more than 2 weeks ago! I went into Faintree's when I was on the hunt for a vRS and they told me that there was absolutely no way they could get hold of an SE for me, new or ex-demonstrator :(
