  1. Hello All, Apologies for not being back online sooner, I went ahead and purchased the car on finance. Within the 14 day period, I used my right to withdraw, which meant I had to pay the outstanding amount and a few days intertest. I kept all my perks. Hope that helps, and thank you all for your assistance. Thanks again
  2. Hello all I know there are quite a few posts on this, but some not so recent, but looking for some last minute advice, looking to pull the trigger on a used Kodiaq tomorrow to join the Skoda family, from a Group 1 dealership. I am considering it is still worth signing up to PCP and then settling in the first 14 days to get the extra warranty etc. I noticed that the finance paper work references group 1 rather than vwfs, but assuming they act as broker. Is this still a safe practice to go ahead with? Many thanks
  3. New to the forum and thinking about buying a Octavia..... look forward to being part of the community. Have a good weekend all.
  4. Hello all. I’m in the market for a Mk3 Skoda Octavia and am pondering the practicalities of fitting a tow bar for our camping escapades. We’re eyeing the 1.5 TSi SE L model and plan to hitch a small trailer for our camping gear. I’ve come across some information that suggests the vehicle identification number (VIN) might indicate the towing weight, which could be a good sign that the car is ready for such an addition. Is this a reliable indicator? Also, I’ve heard there’s a sticker in the boot that might offer some towing insights. Could anyone with experience in this area share their thoughts or advice? Any pointers on ensuring the car is suitably equipped would be greatly appreciated. I do not want to buy a car that I find cannot have one fitted. Thank you in advance for your help!
