  3. A litlle update: As a partner said to me, I were looking for some white effect W5W bulbs: I were looking for Philips Bluevision, but I saw these ones: Here a pic of toshiba W5W bulbs that came with the headlights (yes, the bonnet was open) Here a pic of Piaa (in my parking place) In these headlights is a little bit more difficult to change the bulbs I've also unmounted the right headlight because the regulation didn't work (both regulation axis went out from their positions), fitted yet Changing the Xenon bulb is a quite difficult than an halogen lamp Now that I have my headlights in the correct height, I can say that this mod is one of the better mods than you can do to your cars (or even the best mod) The headlights' range is very good, and the light is as good as the sunlight The cost of the complete headlights + a pair of Osram D2S (for spare) + shipping were 565€ (from skodateile.cz) Sorry for my english

  11. Hi forum I'm posting this little DIY, because I'd think that can be useful You must do 3 simple steps: 1: Lightly remove the right panel of the trunk (like if you would change a lamp) Then you must see the "bowden wire" (inside the red circle in the image) 2: take the bowden an pull to the rear of the car 3: replace the bowden to its original position 4: replace the trunk panel to its original position Some greetings from Forofabia.com (the spanish fabia forum) Sorry for my english
  12. Pioneer has the Avic models, but a carputer is cheaper than one of these systems I've mounted one in my fabia, and costs me about 750-800 Euro (excluding speakers and power amplifier) My carputer has GPS navigation, TDT, DVD player, HDD,..... even vagcom Take a look: http://briskoda.net/ice-security-insurance/my-fabiaputer-fabia-i-carputer/117713/
  13. Take a look to this: My Carputer Installation in a Fabia: http://briskoda.net/ice-security-insurance/my-fabiaputer-fabia-i-carputer/117713/
  14. the Felicia, and the Laura (Octavia in some countries) also used this typeface I've maked C ,D ,E, H, I, R, S, T, U, X and Y if you want, we can make an alphabet together, and make a font file I'm using Intergraph Smart Sketch to make the letters from scratches [email protected] (works in msn messenger)
  15. ..... XDDD in Briskoda, and casually you were the author of the post, xdddd "putter" letters are made by me I am doing a complete alphabet with the Fabia letter style do you know a program to make font files???
  16. Let's see more pics: PERSONALISED WINDOWS BOOT IMAGE After lots of searching, finally I found a pic of "Fabia" logo to edit, and make the word"fabiaputer" After editing it with Macromedia Freehand, Paint Shop Pro (I don't Photoshop), Intergraph Smart Sketch (to make "puter"), and again PSP, the image was ready to install with Tune Up Utilites 2008 Vector image of "fabia" (found in the web): Edited logo ready to paste into a image: Edited image (16colour image, 640x480) ready to install: And here, testing in home PC: I hope you liked it.
  17. I went to a techincian, and he changed a pair of condensers and some other components to the screen "mainboard" the only problem that i have now is that if you turn off the screen (in its on/off key), it turns to white (if you stop the "feeding", it turns to black) but, no problem, because i've welded an interruptor to full turn out the screen sorry for my english
  18. I had problems with the screen connected to car battery after repairing it, i've connected to PC power supply, and no more problems
  19. with a signal converter (it converts high signal of the H/U output into low signal output to plug into the amplifier, but there are amplifiers that have high signal inputs) you don't have to change the H/U
  20. thanks chech all the connections of the screen if you have the screen connected to car battery, this maybe the problem my screen also refused to work, and i sent it to repair, now that is connected to pc power supply there are no more problems
  21. MORE IMAGES Two pics of microphone wiring: (for hands free) And one more, of microphone installed: Not tested yet. Is a standar microphone, connected to sound card Here another two pics of the fire extinguisher that I've installed in the cabin (screwed to driver's seat): In the trunk there is another one of 2Kg This is a image of one of front woofers (the rear woofers are the same), the door panel was removed to retight one of the screws) And this is what I've called "Anti Scratch": Actually ther are no more pics of the carputer, but I will post tem when have more pics I hope you have liked [email protected]
  22. If you can mount 2 separate ways, the sound will be better than the 6x9 If the speakers have 135W RMS, you must search for an amplifier that has at least 135W RMS per channel (the better the more power, to avoid distorsion) The impedance of the speakers must be the same than amplifier's impedance Sorry for my english
