  1. lets hope it is here in 3 weeks then and the weather is good then!
  2. Just had this, so see how long it sits at the docks now! cant seem to remove double paste.
  3. My current SEAT Leon has the handbrake right by the passenger seat and I can't say I have noticed an issue in nearly 8 years driving it. Only thing I can think of is if we had a large drink in the centre cup holder that got in the way.
  4. Great news, I hope i get mine confirmed then to as I think its meant to be the same build date as yours. I dont mind the glass roof, but in all fairness I will probably leave the roof blind closed all the time anyway and when I was in showroom with it closed it looked pretty dark anyway.
  5. its pointless anyway what about motorsport and F1 they will always be using fuels and I cant imagine Lorrys and Ferrys being non diesel Legin T, thanks for heads up about Skoda parts site in CZ I ordered the same front and rear rubber mats with red logo for winter use, good prices to.
  6. yes the days of the 4 speed manual gearbox and manual choke. I agree with you there I dont like driving how I use to, the roads are far to busy now and always traffic jams and roadworks, it was never that bad in the 90's I also dont really want to make the switch to electric cars when we have to.
  7. My first car before that was a Mk3 Black Ford Capri 1.6LS I wish I still had that one! I also had a Mk5 Golf GTD in black, was probably my fave car of all the cars I have owned and I kept that one 10 years.
  8. I did have a Grey Mk 2 VW Golf Gti in the 90s and didnt mind that colour back then. thats a good price for those mats and mud guards, does the car not come with any then? i didnt see them as an option either, I would of thought the mats would be standard?
  9. I went to local Skoda Dealer at weekend as they had a 2024 Monte Carlo in. looked great inside and out, wasnt to keen on the Grey paintwork though, glad I didnt choose that one, attached a couple of photos for you.
  10. looks like a no then and I will be stuck with the Black!
  11. yes i can imagine that pearl paint will mark easy, be dreading parking in supermarket car parks. in Hindsight I wish I had paid the £400 extra and gone for the Velvet Red now, probably to late to change now.
  12. Yes I was worried that the pearl black will just blend in to much with the bumpers and mirrors, I like how the roof blends in though, I will probably have the cover back most of the time anyway so direct sun isnt coming in. yes Red brake callipers sounds like a good choice with the 18" alloys
  13. Nice 🙂 how long after build date is it till you get to pick up your car in the UK? any idea
  14. They told me I couldn't have the charging pack as well as the premium winter pack due to the buttons underneath or something clash. I did take the 2 years fixed servicing option to I think it was £169 or something. I live 144 miles from the supplying dealer for my new car and I will be collecting it, I dont trust there driven delivery option and dont want o pay for a transporter.
  15. I only went for the spacesaver spare wheel and the Premium Winter Pack, i did want the charging pack to but you couldnt have it with the Winter pack. I ordered my car through the same broker I used on my last car so found it all very easy and a good price to. I was looking at the tyre sizes on the Monte Carlo and they are 205/45/18 seems to be a not very common size as when you look up new tyres for it you are limited to Goodyears at £169 per tyre! I would of thought they would of used 225/45 as thats what I have had on previous cars and make it handle a bit better, plus loads of range to choose from and can get them for £65 per tyre for a good brand.
