Hi I have a 2016 Skoda Superb that I have been told needs a new timing chain as it is stretched. I understood these to be 'lifetime' and rarely need replacing? Has anyone else had the same issue? I have also been told that there is a 'plunger' by the chain that if replaced may assist in tightening the chain. any advise would be appreciated as this is potentially a large repair bill... Thank you
