Hello, I'm new to the forums. I tried searching for a similar topic, but to no avail.
Recently I bought my first car - Škoda Superb Mk II, 2011, 2.0 TDI, 140hp, sedan.
Through the Maxidot settings, I found the option to lock the doors when speed reaches 15 km/h. Great, I checked the two options to set automatic lock and unlock (How does automatic unlock work?). But when driving, there are a few occasions when I need the doors unlocked, for example when I need to pick someone, without opening the driver door (that unlocks the doors), the passenger one (that unlocks the doors), or turning the ignition off and taking out the key (that also unlocks the doors). But I cannot unlock the doors from the button/switch (if that's what it's called).
What I tried is:
clicking the unlock symbol on both the driver and passenger door - both seem to not work/respond;
double-clicking the unlock symbol;
holding the unlock symbol for at least 5 seconds;
clicking the unlock button on the remote;
holding the unlock button on the remote;
I even changed the two fuses (the 30A ones regarding the door locking/unlocking, I guess) even though they were fine.
I read the manual, but I only found that in order to unlock the doors, I should just click the unlock symbol/button. Well, that's not working, both of them are not working. Do you have any suggestions, tips or ideas on what might be wrong, or I am doing wrong?
