  3. Hello. So my Yeti 4x4 1.8tfsi CDAA engine has reached point it's eating far too much oil, so trying to figure out what would be best different engine to swap it out to so I never have to worry about it. CJSB seems to be 4x4 gen3 of same engine but just want to confirm if it will be suitable replacement or better getting different engine which would be straight swap out? Only reason I'm not doing recon on existing engine is that it already had slight knocking and suspect one of followers are knocking when idling too. Has anyone done swap and if yes to what engine and do I need only engine or all ecu, bcm, etc? Thanks in advance.
  4. Hey. Odd one. 2012 octavia tsi estate. Alarm seems to have issues. They come and go. So once unlock car it keeps trying to unlock itself and rolls all windows down. Its not every time, sometimes it does it, sometimes dont. Some times you unlock it and it flashes/trying to unlock itself once, sometimes few times, but windows rolls down anyway if it feels like it. checked remote to make sure its not sticky button but even if I press once and then remove battery from remote, it caries on doing it. Any idea? Thanks.
  5. No worries. Massive help as is, I should be able to google up rest. Probably will be back with joys of engine (CDAA oil eater) but thats in future to come
