My car started locking itself while i was driving as well as when unattended. So had enough of it and traded it in 🤔

My randomly door locking problem...... after 8 diagnostic visits, umpteen garages to no avail was sorted by myself in the end, wd40 and the child lock on the nearside back door turning it on and off with a flathead screwdriver multiple times sorted it, Don't ask me how but sorted it 👌 So if you have recently put your door child lock on, this may be your problem hope it helps.

Hi carboy0 thanks for the reply ECU sounds expensive.!!! I would probably leave it and just remember my keys every time but the is always that once when I have my granddaughter in the back of the car strapped in her car seat and I just jump out of the car to get something out of the boot and it locks. Would be an absolute nightmare. Thank you again for the reply.

Having the same problem with my octavia 2019 just randomly locking the doors, having a auto electrician look at it next week.
