Oggy, What front arb do you have? I have a 23mm R32 bar and am still getting some understeer. So going to change to the 3rd from softest, was fitting aero wipers today and gave her a wash. Also looking at getting the S3 strut braces. More money. A wee tip when fitting aero wipers, make sure you put the arms on the correct way round. A am getting stupider.

Not a bad tyre. Had neros before and these are nearly as grippy and a lot less noise. Very happy with them.

I also have a new set of boots, falken fk 452. I'm going to go 3rd from softest and see how that is as still getting some understeer. Will hopefully do this the weekend when I'm fitting my aero wipers.

Well I have mine on the 2nd from softest and think its a bit too soft. Have a R32 ARB on the front so might try the 3rd but its supposed to be easy the change between them. Happy to help.

A press mmmm I have a old hand press from a place I used to work in. Hopefully this should do the job. Or might be lazy and get a local mechanic to fit it. I did put the arb on myself but am a bit worried about doing this. Don't want to be going down the road and having the wheels fall off. Should not cost much to get him to throw them in.

Have mine on a few days and well impressed. Over rough roads the back does not wobble like it used to. Have not got to try it at speed as have a wishbone bushing gone. Its also on the 2nd from softest with falken fk 452's just fitted at the weekend. I got mine from eBay. It was not in stock when I ordered it but was not much of a wait. I think it arrived at the same time as the GB ones.

Have the bar on the 2nd from softest. The car does feel so much better the back feels more solid over rough ground. Have not had a chance to test it at full speed yet. Have to wait till I get this bushing fixed.

When I was getting my tyres fitted this morning it was pointed out to me that the rear wishbone bush was gone. Now seeing that I'm just after paying for a full set of rubber ( falken fk 452 ). I had a look around this site and not sure should I just replace the full wishbone of just the bush? And I won't have the money to get it fixed till next weekend. Also picked up my vRS mk2 badges and there is sticky stuff on the back. I assume this would be good enough to hold it on the car. I'm removing all the badges and just having the vrs in the middle. Forgot to mention its a. 01 vRS that I have. Right I'm away off to check the nuts on my whiteline arb. The other reason I'm broke.

Have it ordered with the garage a bit way from me. No problem and thanks for the thought. Even have the dental floss. Picking the badge up on sat. Cannt wait to see how it looks

The pads I am going with are Ferodo DS2500 part no. FCP590H and the fluid is going to be super dot 4 which you can get from halfords (castrol RS Super DOT4). Just don't know what disks to get.

im also looking at changing my pads and disks, as im getting a remap. Think the pad and fluid up-grade is the way to go but also need new disks and dont want to send a fortune

Was on to my local Skoda dealers and the part hit is on holiday this week. So got one of the parts I was looking for but he wants to wait till next week to order the mk2 vrs badge. Does anyone have the part number for this cause if I give him that he can order straight away. If no one has it don't worry, will get on to another dealer and see what they can do. Trying to save myself a long drive. Thanks

Its ok I found a pic of the new vrs badge. Going to order on at the weekend. So not to hard to guess what ill be doing the weekend.

What I was thinking of doing, see a picture somewhere before but for the life of me cannt find it, was remove all the badges and just have the vrs one over the two holes that are left my the Skoda badge. Anyone have a pic of this and is there much of a difference between the mk1 and mk2 badges. Thanks
