I'm at a complete loss with trying to find out if my maps need updating! I have just got a 2022 Superb. The system is telling me this: Just been into Skoda and the tech guy says everything is up to date, and the car will automatically update over the air. My understanding from reading on here is the map version is 7th month 2021, the tech guy says it's just 27.1 release i.e. the next one will be 27.2. I don't even know how to tell what make my system is. Skoda's portal says it's Amunsden so I assume that's correct. Finding this so confusing!!

Was looking to buy a 2022 superb mk3 SEL, but seen a SE Technology. Is there anywhere where I can find the difference between the two? All I've noticed is wheel sizes 18" and 17" and the SEL has the electronic boot opener. Is there much else?

I'm looking at getting a 2022 1.5TSI ACT DSG Superb, does it have the DQ200 gearbox, or do the later ones have a different one? How do I find out?

Looking at buying used. Plenty in my price range with less than 30k on the clock. Looking to renew in the next couple of months, so plenty of time to sus things out.

That's the reason I was looking at a superb, the size of the car. I'm using a Merc C-Class at the moment just not quite big enough for me. That's the question Rooted, which gearbox? Really did want an auto this time.

Thanks guys. I'll have to track other drivers down using them as taxi's. Seen a couple but haven't had chance to speak to them. Really do like the Superb, maybe have to go manual if I really want one!

Thanks for the replies. As for electric I'm not convinced. A colleague had to pass a very good paying job mid shift as he didn't have enough charge left in his Kia, so this really isn't an option for me. Thanks for all the info Rooted.

Hi all, apologies if these has been asked before. I'm looking at buying a 2023 Superb for Taxi use, 100% want an auto. Is the DSG gearbox any good for this style of driving or should I avoid? Thanks in advance.
