  1. Thanks again and for the advice on connecting a new battery.
  2. Hi. Just got back and picked up your message. I have got a basic battery & alternator tester and when resting (ignition off) the battery only reaches the second light which is 12 volts. Engine running every thing appears OK. I have a neighbour on the campsite who has a multmeter, so may be able to do some more tests when he returns. Is changing a battery on my car model a DIY job - or will there issues with lost codes etc? Many thanks for your advice which is much appreciated. Geoff
  3. Hi. I am currently in France and my Large Red Power steering warning light has come on twice in the past week. It only flashed on for a second and then went off. there wa no change to the power steering. Trying to get help from the few local dealers here in the Dordogne has been difficult - they either have no appointments for weeks or treat it as an emergency which they say will entail putting my car on a break down vehicle and will take weeks etc. I understand that my model does not have a steering fluid top up tank so that is one check I cannot do. I am thinking of buying a fault code finder off Ebay France to see if that will provide any enlightment. I have read that these fault warnings can relate to other issues eg the car battery. I would be grateful for any advice and in particular - where can I find a list of fault codes for my model ?
