Hello, I bought my 2016 Octavia SE L TDI in 2024, and the Amundsen (I think) ICE started to misbehave soon afterwards, and the problems have worsened over time. The system starts up and shuts down autonomously (it always reminds me not to forget my mobile before switching off, at whatever speed I happen to be travelling at). This can happen every few seconds, or after a few minutes, blighting most journeys. It reminds me that 'The Park Pilot is not currently available' on a regular basis. I have yet to find out what Park Pilot is. When this message comes up, I have to hit OK to get rid of it. Occasionally the screen brightness increases dramatically for a few seconds, then returns to normal. Sometimes I can adjust volume using the rotating knob on the left hand side of the steering wheel, sometimes that stops working and I have to spin the on/off button to change volume. All of this is so illogical and haywire that I can't even begin to form a strategy for fixing it. If anyone has a bright ideas that could save me from what will probably be an expensive dealer fix, I'd be very grateful. Muir MacKean IMG_0722.heic
