Whenever I open the glovebox, all the interior lights start flashing and the cluster says the boot is intermittently open. It has been like that every since I got the car second hand two years ago, and rarely it fixes itself only to start doing it again. Plugging the socket for the glovebox in and out did not help, mechanic suggested it could be a ground issue - and since the car is indicating the boot is being open, there seems to be a common ground for the glovebox and boot close sensors. Can anyone tell me where that might be located, so I can check the contacts? Thanks!
