  1. Hi Andy After letting Skoda Connect know I still had this problem, they asked me to make an appt at the service centre. I believe they sent them some software updates - the car was in for a day and the issue with my profile was fixed. So basically, the answer is that this profile load error can only be resolved in a Skoda workshop, and they do know how to fix it. Hope this helps 🙂
  2. My new Karoq cannot be registered properly on the app or in Skoda connect, and I cannot access many of the infotainment options, as I constantly get the "unable to load user profile" in the vehicle when I try to log in. I have tried reinstalling app after clearing cache, doing a factory reset on the infotainment, I even set up a new account with a different email and nothing fixes it. The dealership have no suggestions and Skoda Connect support's suggestions have not worked. Their last was to go for a 5-10 minute drive which I thought sounded an unlikely resolution, but I did it anyway and no change. I have a feeling this must be a known issue which might need the car to go in to the dealership for reset or reprogramming, but I have only found similar issues online, never this exact one. Can anyone offer any current advice from experience or knowledge of this problem? Much appreciated, thanks, Liz
  3. Hi, I am Liz - I have just joined and wanted to introduce myself. After friends and family had bought older Skodas with high mileage which seemed to still work well, I bought a new Scala, and just replaced it with a Karoq. The car is lovely, but the order process has been a wholly negative experience. I now have the "unable to load user profile" which I'm going to post on owners' forum.
