  1. Thanks for this. Looks like I'll have to 'bite the bullet ' and pay the dealer price for a replacement key then. 😔
  2. Oh really?! Ok. I will try anyway, bno harm in asking. Is there anywhere at the moment that can do spare/replacement keys cheaper - or are we at the mercy of the dealers? I live in Northern Ireland btw.
  3. Yeah I know what you are saying and I am quite concerned that another key may be still lurking in the wild. I do have the My Skoda app installed, however, until I get a replacement/additional key I cannot register as the Primary User and 'lock it down'. I will request a 3rd asap and do everything you said above immediately. Thank you again.
  4. Thank you much for the detailed reply. I couldn't find the previous owner in the list of users on the infotainment screen, so maybe they were already deregistered by the dealer prior to the sale? I will check with my local Skoda dealer if they can have a look in the settings just to be sure. Anyway it's good to know that I can request a 3rd key from Skoda and use it as my 2nd key, as I really don't fancy having to spend £375 for a replacement! Thank again for your prompt response and help
  5. Found this old post and have a similar problem with a 2021 car I bought recently from a dealer and just wanted to know if/how you ever resolved it? The dealer I bought from said the previous owner had said the 2nd key had been destroyed when they bought the car from them so it only had one. They wouldn't budge on replacing it or going halfers on a new one. Everywhere I ask they say the software is too new (still?!) and I have to go to Skoda UK. Any recommendations please?
