Including VAT, so it could be worse!
It's just under 10 hours of labour apparently, and they showed me a long list of parts that would be replaced (I haven't got a copy yet), but I'll try to get one).
I suspect that not all of these parts would need replacing, but being a main dealer they do it anyway out of caution.
I've spoken with a specialist who's happy to quote for the work, I just need to get it booked in with them so they can assess it, and hopefully deliver a more sensible number.
That was my thought too. The line on the warranty which they're rejecting it on is this one:
The T&Cs don't further define "major component", but in my view if it's going to take ~10 hours to access and replace the components to get to the leak, then they must be pretty major.
I've got their number and a claim reference now, so I'm going to get in touch with them today as a next step.
If that fails, I'll start escalating.
Neither - it looks like the All-in warranty is its own separate beast. It looks to be more comparable to the all component warranty from a quick look through the T&Cs (and interestingly, that one also contains the same exclusion as above) .
