  1. Including VAT, so it could be worse! It's just under 10 hours of labour apparently, and they showed me a long list of parts that would be replaced (I haven't got a copy yet), but I'll try to get one). I suspect that not all of these parts would need replacing, but being a main dealer they do it anyway out of caution. I've spoken with a specialist who's happy to quote for the work, I just need to get it booked in with them so they can assess it, and hopefully deliver a more sensible number. That was my thought too. The line on the warranty which they're rejecting it on is this one: The T&Cs don't further define "major component", but in my view if it's going to take ~10 hours to access and replace the components to get to the leak, then they must be pretty major. I've got their number and a claim reference now, so I'm going to get in touch with them today as a next step. If that fails, I'll start escalating. Neither - it looks like the All-in warranty is its own separate beast. It looks to be more comparable to the all component warranty from a quick look through the T&Cs (and interestingly, that one also contains the same exclusion as above) .
  2. Hi all, I've had my Superb 280 for a few years and love it; best car I've had. (Much better than my old Alfa 159 Sportwagon, but don't tell the Alfisti!🤫) We're on the cusp of falling out though... it's just been at the dealers for a major service, and they told me there was an oil leak from the rocker cover - £3500 to fix! I was hoping it would be fixed under the All-in extended warranty, but after sending photos off the dealer was told it's not covered. I'm waiting to find out more about the severity of it, as I've not seen it myself yet. A tiny weep I can probably live with, a puddle on the drive not so much. Has anyone experienced this issue before? Searching online hasn't yielded very much useful information. IMG_0104.heic
