Well you can see that the shade of red under where the letters were is still the same shade as the rest of the car... it just a bit "hazy" around the letters That's what it looks like to me anyway

I recently had the amazing idea to de-badge my car... a heat gun, dental floss, and glue&tar remover worked perfectly! The issue is that there's some sort of fading around where the letters were - probably from previous owners not cleaning around them very well (see pictures) Would white spirit or t cut help? Or any other ideas?? Here's the before and after de-badging: (This is my first car so don't judge me too much! and yes I tinted the taillights myself and I'm about to replace the number plate and upgrade the emblems to the newer version)
