  1. Thanks again for your advice. Much appreciated
  2. Good morning and thanks for the reply. In answer to your questions, it was the Passenger door which I inserted the blade of the key fob into and yes indeed, the Alarm did activate 👍 I cannot think of anything I did to cause the Boot to suddenly lock on me. I bad unlicked the car to put some stuff in the boot before driving off. It was only 20 mins later when I arrived at my destination that I couldn’t open it. So the car was not locked after initially opening the boot before driving away. You are right, I am able to use the Emergency method to release the boot via the inside using a screwdriver. Will look up the Red Warning Triangle Warnings in the manual 👍 there is a slight click when depressing the lock switch on the Tailgate. the vehicle is going in for a Service & MOT at my usual Skoda Dealer and will ask them to have a look at it then. Luckily, I have extended Warranty so hopefully they will fix it for me. I appreciate your advice. Thank you
  3. I own a 19 plate Skoda Fabia SE L Estate. Two days ago, the Boot suddenly locked shut and would not release. I tried using my spare Key Fob, Using the Key in the Passenger side door handle to try and unlock but the Boot still will not release. I am able to manually get the boot open by climbing in behind the rear seats and inserting a screwdriver into a small hole on the inside. Just wondering if there might be something I may have overlooked or touched a setting to cause it to jam ? Or, is this a common fault I.e. something gone amiss with the Latch etc. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thank you.
