  1. Cheers for the replies fellas, I completely forgot the hids need to have level controls, and the lamp washers to be legal. I think I'll just change her standard drls to the cree led bulbs and say that's the best I can do for you ha
  2. Long story short, My wife had to have a new car last year and after looking at multiple superbs (nun that ticked all the box's for me) she fell in love with our 2017 se estate looks wise, and it ticked the box's for me low miles, very clean inside and out, service history and from a local independent dealer who are old family friends, but last week we happened to be parked next to a sportsline and all I heard was "ooooo I like them lights" and the rest off the day was "can you put them lights on my car". Im handy on the spanners and can use scanners and livedata to fault find and fix cars. But what exactly would be involved in converting the standard headlamp to a hid one with the led drl, 1. Can you recode the module to run the hid lights or just replace it with one from a donor car 2. Will hid lamp even plug into a stand lamp loom?? 3. Can I learn to ignore these comments and forget about the whole idea and tell her it can't be done 🤔 Anyone ever done this before??
  3. Hi all new to skodas not new to vag cars mainly older Vws. Had a search but couldn't find anything close to my problem. Just bought a 2011 estate vrs a few days ago. Second day of ownership a reg plate bulb when out, but when the light was on the dash for the bulb, the brake wear light was dimly lit also, changed the bulb all good. Tonight heading to the shop I noticed the brake wear light was flashing dimly timed to my indicators when in use. The light isn't on normal only when indicating or when the faulty bulb lamp was illuminated. There is leds out on the dash, 4 needle leds and some off the rev counter back light would this have anything to do with it. Anyone ever come across this before Any help appreciated
