  1. Alarm LED not blinking, but alarm working.

    Hello Trying to suss out why the alarm LED in my Roomster TSI drivers door isn't flashing when car is locked. Topic doesn't seem to have come up elsewhere. Tested the alarm by opening door with key and it works fine - WITH LED FLASHING while it sounds - so it's probably not bad wiring in the door. Main suspect is a knackered lock microswitch which has failed in the 'door closed' position (fortunately) and I'm about to replace it, but this packed up about a month ago and the LED was still flashing until last week. OR .. could it be the alarm NiMh battery? Car is 2011 so possibly - but LED should run off main battery right? Any suggestions gratefully received. Cheers, Ian
