  1. Oh thanks ok, do you know if you can get at that yourself or is it more of a a garage job..?
  2. Things to check, have had similar issues… 1. Battery in the key fob 2. Wiring loom in the door 3. Battery both the first two where issues on mine at one point, we have the same car from the same year. Also you can always try disabling the alarm with the red button on the door. Hope this helps
  3. Hi all hope your well, looking for an AC relay on my Fabia (2) MK2 (Pre-facelift, 1.4L 16V) The fans blow and the compressor isn’t faulty but no power gets to it so it can’t activate. I’m working on the basis that it’s probably either a relay or some wiring somewhere? Anyone had a similar experience..? (System is gassed and holds pressure) light for A/C even glows orange when pressed but no cold air. Can anyone tell me where I should look, or where the relay would be in order to replace it - every single fuse is good and the batter has no issues Thanks for any help people can give.
  4. All good points here, I’m glad you’ve made them as I did buy a £15 ‘OBD2’ reader which didn’t actually do abs codes 🤣 have now upgraded to one that does, and tracked to a wheel speed sensor, cleared for now
  5. Hi all, Been lurking on briskoda a while, before I bought the car I have and the community seems to be a great one. My 09 Fabia MK2 2 1.4 16V has an intermittent ABS light. I’ve tested the ABS it works when the light is off but not with the light on. I have ordered an OBD2, and will check it some more this weekend when it turns up. I have two questions: 1. has anyone experienced similar and what was your solution - how much did it cost you in the end 😂? 2. Does anyone know if you disable a fault code from the OBD2 how long it will stay cleared for? any and all help appreciated, thanks for reading :)
