Thanks for your help @Tdawber . The firmware update worked a treat! I really think the dealerships need to be aware of this fix as my local one in Perth, Scotland, didn't realise that there was a problem, despite me asking them to install a firmware update. I’ll give this as feedback for the dealership.

Hi, looking to get this firmware update please if someone can provide? although my issue is with crackling related to Apple carplay, and ive read on an apple forum that this is related to an ios update on the phones rather than the car’s firmware? thanks
