  1. Thanks Ootohere and Jack25 for offering help so quickly and in words I understand! I'll run the diagnosticator-tron later and report back with the gobbledegook codes. As for windscreen jets, nothing looks awry, and both the front & rear stopped at the same time so maybe a hose is to blame. Are they easily traceable, i.e.: nothing has to be dismantled or put on a ramp to investigate? I really do appreciate getting useful responses so quickly. I thought I might have to give it a week. Thanks.
  2. Hello all, please can you help? I have a 2017 1.2 TSI Yeti Outdoor and suddenly neither front nor rear pumps are spraying. Yes, there is a full reservoir of fluid, and yes, I can hear pump noises when I apply the relevant commands. Please can someone suggest what might be going on and what to do to fix it, in language a non-mechanic can understand? Also, at random points the EPC light comes on. I can restart the car and it goes out again. Only sometimes does the "check engine" light also come on, then the car really does limp. But, pull over and turn car off and on again and it goes. What's all this about? Again, any help in language a moron can understand would be greatly appreciated. I do have affection for this car, but after 2 years and 15k miles, it has suddenly become a money pit. Are these issues portents of further trouble? My past cars were Land Rover Mark 2 Discovery's, which became a game of bingo as I checked off the list of known faults until I learnt my lesson (ULEZ sped up the proceedings too). Any help that you can offer would be wonderful. Please let me reiterate that I don't speak the lingo. But perhaps one day I might be able to reciprocate with sage advice for someone else? Thanks in advance.
