  1. Hello everyone, I need some help with my 2006 Škoda Superb. Recently, I installed an aftermarket Apple CarPlay unit in my car. During the installation, one of the fuses blew, but I replaced it, and everything seemed to work fine. However, I've run into an issue with my car keys. Both of my remote-controlled car keys no longer unlock or lock my car or boot. Interestingly, if I hold down the unlock or lock button, the windows still open and close as expected. This indicates that the key fobs are still functioning to some extent, but I cannot use them to lock or unlock the car without manually inserting the key into the keyhole and turning it. Turning the key once unlocks the driver’s side door, and turning it twice unlocks all the doors, so the central locking system itself seems to be working. Here’s what I’ve checked and tried so far: Both key fobs have new batteries. The key fobs can open and close the windows. I've tried about seven different processes to reprogram the key fobs, but none have worked. Is there anyone who can help me figure out why the key fobs won't unlock or lock the car doors? Is there a way to fix this issue without taking it to the dealership? Thanks in advance for any advice or solutions!
