    Afterwards, you can expect every warning light to come on. For me, they all disappeared after a few mintutes. Just letting you know, because it scared the life out of me....

    That sounds brutal. Mine hasn't had any issues since I disconnected the battery... Hope you find an easy solution.

    So, I disconnected the battery for a minute or so about a week ago, and it hasn't happened since. Maybe just coincidence... who knows.

    My Octavia MKiv also just started doing the same, and it's definitely the volume slider under the screen. Crazy frustrating, and hoping it is a software issue. I'd be happy to just disable the slider since I find it pretty useless anyway. Anyone know how that could be done?
