  1. Thanks Miz and yes I've already called Westfilia last Friday. The kit (305407300113) has just been released in Germany but will be available in the UK imminently. The problem is Skoda dealers only want to buy parts from Skoda themselves to maintain the warranty. Skoda need to get the part, test it themselves and repackage it before it'll be available to the UK dealers. I could buy the wiring and bar separately and fit it myself (garage in the family) but then I need to get it programmed. And then what happens if I have any electrical problems, Skoda will wash there hands. I've been on the wrong side of Skoda's warranty procedures before!
  2. Phoned up the Dealer to see if a full harness would be available but there isn't anything for cars made after the end of May. I now have a 25k car that I cant use for its intention..... Poor show.
  3. I'm currently having a nightmare with Skoda so called customer services. My dealer has confirmed as my Octavia was built after May there isn't any wiring to connect to the tow-bar prep I paid a good amount of money for. Firstly Skoda customer services denied there was any problem with the tow-bar electrics and have just called to say in fact they don't have a solution to rectify the problem or any idea when or if a part will be available. Wondering what my options are now? Any ideas? Octavia VRS TDI Estate built July 10th.
  4. I believe there 6x15 et38. The offset still won’t guarantee they’ll clear the callipers?
  5. Guys, sure this has been discussed before, but after ages searching I’ve drawn a blank! I'm thinking of buying a set of mk4 Golf GTi 15" alloys to put winter tyres on. Question is, will these alloys clear the front callipers on a Standard VRS?
  6. Hi guys, hope you might be able to advise.... 54 plate VRS and at the weekend the heater pug light (orange curly thing) started to flash on the dash. As this wasnt a red light and the car felf fine I continued to drive with no problems. Got to my destination 200 miles away to find the brake lights (outside not dash warning light) stuck on. I had to remove the fuse to stop the battery going flat. Are these faults related? Any thoughts guys. It's being booked into the Stealers so I'll let you know the outcome. Thanks
