I have a strange problem with my Octavia mk 2 2005 2.0tdi. When cold ie first thing in the morning the car starts first time and drives perfectly normal, If you then turn it off the car will turn over but not start. This is accompanied by the auto gear selector display flashing. I have trawled through all posts but cannot see this particular fault. Usually the flashing gear selector seems to be accomanied by gear change problems. mine is just non start ??.
