  1. HI Guys. First, Sorry for my bad english. I have a problem with battery drain from few weeks. few days ago I realized, that it started to drain battery after the Columbus update to the newer version. I do some other things like coding by carscanner, so I wouldn't like to suggest that it's 100% Columbus Does someone has the same problem? Skoda Suberb 3 2017 L&K 2.0 DSG 4x4. The story looked like this: I bought a Skoda in April this year. After a few weeks, I updated the navigation map, updated Columbus from P3325 to version MIH2_ER_SKG11_K3343, using this method: I noticed some problems, after skoda started with the alarm going on for no reason every 12 hours. However, after that I noticed that the battery was drained. The car after 24h without starting has battery from 12,7V to 11,6V. Another example, I park my car at work, I measure the voltage 30 minutes after parking - it is 12.7V. After 8 hours of work, I return to the car, it is 12.1-12.2V. I replaced the battery with a new one, but the problem still persists. Is it possible that the clumbus update generated the problem? Is it safe to disconnect the battery for a moment and perform a "series measurement" (I don't know if I called it correctly in English). I mean disconnecting the positive battery terminal and plugging in a meter, to measure the power consumpton between + battery terminal and the + cable (car receivers). Then, if the current consumption would be high, I could unplug the fuses one by one and check which one causes the current consumption to drop. But I heard, that it's not good to disconnect the car from the power supply - the previous owner said that after replacing the battery, he had to go to the service center to have the Matrix lights adjusted. That's why I replaced the battery with a connected charger, the car still had 13V power supply during the battery replacement. For additional things I did was to FACTORY RESET of columbus. I checked whether any lights were on, in the trunk or in the car after closing the door. The car doesn't make any sounds when closed, no fans work, etc. Thank you in advance for any feedback. I really appreciate it. Regarding columbus update, see below my update old version, and the new one.
