  1. JR RS Thanks again, will get studying, lol
  2. Undertheradar So I take it after fitting the b6's we shouldnt need to calibrate then, best place to get them if i go down that route, bilstein themselves
  3. Undertheradar Thanks for the reply Was it the bilstein b6's you had fitted and is your suspension standard as in you werent on coilovers etc and JR Rs had mentioned the dcc recalibration, i take it i need obd 11 to do this, i only seen 1 guy on you tube do this with a Jetta but i seen him selecting the deflected wheels option so didnt know of this cos he had modifoed the car etc, was hoping on a bit more info on that, and i could find no info on the slider mod at all, if anybody can point me in the right direction with them 2 options
  4. Sel executive 190, thanks
  5. In reply to CJXA, i couldnt seem to requote your post as with numskulls, but durin my initial post i did mention that the rear monroes were fairly new and fitted not that long before i had purchased the vehicle which had covered motorway miles the majority of its 7-8 years life, and i knew the owner so can sort of believe this, so to be honest i wouldnt expect the rear suspension to be they way it is, also that would make me think not to go with monroes again, that and the fact that i joined a few skoda fb forums with one guy sayin its almost certainly shocks and another sayin he actually has one i think only a ysar or 2 old and that thats the way they are, with another forum saying this is what you get with monroes and that you have to go bilsteins, not to get this, which sort of takes me back to the start, post-wise but again thanks for your reply...
  6. To be honest I have not had the car scanned with vcds or a vag specialiest, strut wise at the rear yes we checkedi suppose just visually them while replaced the other rear arms, and i actually thinknthis happens less in sport mode as i have tried all 3 and they do happen on all 3 but seem to be felt less in sport, and thanks for your reply
  7. Thanks alot for the quick reply, on a quick search there im thinking the slider mod is for more modern vehicles with dcc but i take it it obviously can be done on my vehicle as you wouldnt have mentioned it, as with the recalibration both searches led to answers on this site, any quick links available, as i didnt find anythin obvious, and thanks again
  8. Hi, all, new here and to the 2016 skoda superb, with electronic shocks, new to me so very little experience with them, But basically it seems really twitchy at the back as in nearly throwing you from left to right while going over bumpy enough back roads and not even at that high of speeds, Im actually startin to think i can feel and hear the same sort of lumpiness at the front kinda if i hit say a manhole thats sunken a little, which is making me think shocks, But anyway where the rears concerned, I have changed the trail arms with the hydro bush and smaller control arms that run left to right as in parallel with the bumper and even a 3rd set of arms and have got it 4 wheel alignment then afterwards, still, seemed maybe a little bit better but that kick is still there with a slight bumpiness, i know alot of guys on here have been working with these cars along time, so any ideas would be much appreciated, I just dont fancy changing the shocks if thats not what is needed as I believe they were done not that long ago, monroes if im not mistaken, so i wouldnt fancy putting bilstein b6's in at over 300 each and it not to be the culprit and there doesnt seem to be much in between Yes if i was sure it would cure it I probably would, only other thing I can think of is anti roll bar and or bushes with them maybe, So any help appreciated and thanks in advance and all apologies if this has been covered but just got sick of searchin about this and really cany take anymore, I am actually considering getting rid of this car because of this issue, not sure if its because i came from one of the old b5 Passats and was so used to that but surely a near 20 year old car that was known for dodgy suspension in its day couldnt be better than a 16 Superb and one with electronic suspension at that, I am aware that alot of guys say that the DCC isnt that great and that we maybe far safer sticking with non DCC standard setup, So again the only other option i am thinkin of rather than sell the vehicle is to change to the standard shocks/dampers, i believe there is some sort of way of converting to these without throwing dash lights up etc, or would that not be the way to go, Please any help would be appreciated as i thought coming from a manual to a dsg would have been the problem for me but I must say that im pretty pleased with the dsg box, so I was hoping some of you guys could take the time to part with some invaluable wisdom and experience on these cars and handling and suspension wise in particular, Thanks in advance, Johnny
