  1. So I believe part of the door lock barrell went, as the key would just turn 360⁰ and not lock/unlock the door. My key fob only unlocks the car when I hold it right next to the window which was driving me crazy, I wanted to replace the central locking but figured it would be best to do the door lock first. However, since removing the door lock it appears skoda decided to make their own unit that cannot be separated and has to be fully replaced, which is quite frustrating. I'm not having any luck finding a right hand sided door lock replacement online, there are loads for left hand side but none for right hand side. My question is, can you use a left hand side lock on the right hand sided cars? Or will it not work? On top of that, surely I will need a new key to go with it? It's driving me mad that you can't just take the barrel apart like every other lock mechanism. Any help would be massively appreciated as I'm having a meltdown rn.
