Hello!
I have recently come into the possession of a 1962 Skoda Octavia Combi, originally driven from Czechia to the UK in around 2012 to raise money for the NHS centre.
I was wondering if anyone on here might have some more information on the car? As it came with virtually no history, the fella I bought it off wasn't very knowledgable, and I'd like to know what (if any) work has been done to it, the true mileage, and its general history over the years - maybe previous owners who would be interested in helping piece things together, or something along those lines.
I'm aware this is a long shot but hopefully I can get the ball rolling! Here's what I do know about the vehicle so far:
- It's a 1962 Skoda Octavia Combi in ( I believe) Felicia "Aloe Green", although I'm pretty sure this is a respray as portions of the interior are cream-painted. It is currently registration 945 YUT in the UK, and was formerly ADN 36-90 in Czechia.
- It was imported from Czechia in 2012 for the above mentioned charity auction for the Haven Centre in Gosport
- Before 2012, it appears to have been registered in Prague for most if not all of it's life, and has had regular inspections (Czech equivalent of MOT) every 2 years until 2012
I have attached some photos to help, so if you recognise this car please do get in touch! I plan to look after this car for many years and I'd love to know some of it's life before my ownership
Thanks in advance,
Matt
