  1. That's a good shout. I'll try that. Good old switch it off and switch it on again usually works!
  2. Sometimes 60mph in 5th, but generally stays in lower gears longer and often when accelerating drops to 4th before kicking back up to 6th - as if I'm a boy racer! On long hills it drops to 5th even if the speed is well into 6th gear territory. In urban driving often stays in 5th at 40 mph
  3. Thanks for that. Did check I'm not in Sport mode but interestingly in the last month I've noticed the Stop Start has been a bit intermittent so definitely sounds as if a new battery is called for. It's done 95,000 so can't complain Doesn't sound as if it is anything to do with the DSG which is worrying
  4. My Skoda Superb, 2017 model has started to change gear at sub optimal times increasing my fuel consumption by 10%. Scrolling through the menus I have found "Power consumption is high" in the car menu although it is not showing as a fault without searching. Presumably the gear change issue and the message are part of the same problem? Any thoughts
  5. My TMS has stopped working and I am told by my dealer that the issue is that the supplier of the information has not paid it's bills to the radio stations that provide the information to them so the radio stations have stopped providing the Skoda service provider with the information. My dealer says that the issue is the bane of their life and apparently not even new Skoda's have an active TMS. This all seems a bit odd and I wonder if others are having the same problem and if there is a fix? Regards, Philip Dodd
